This is Mitake Distillery's first single malt Japanese whisky, making full use of 180 years of distillation techniques. Using our own cultivated yeast, carefully selected two-row barley, and carefully selected old sherry casks, we have created a new whiskey that is amber-colored and clear, born from the bounty of the earth, and that allows us to experience the profound depths of aging, which changes the flavor over time. [Tasting Notes] A beautiful, clear, slightly reddish amber color, it has a rich, highly aromatic aroma, with a well-balanced blend of rich sweetness reminiscent of baked apples, pear compote, and apricots, freshness reminiscent of citrus peel, spices, and a toasty aroma reminiscent of toast.
